Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Expiry Watch on pumpoverboard.com (the “service”). Instant checks, free watchlists, email alerts, and paid subscriptions are all covered. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What this is — and is not
Expiry Watch is an informational monitoring aid. It may probe TLS certificates and domain registration dates and may email you when those dates look close. It is not a certificate authority, a registrar, a professional monitoring contract, or a guarantee that a host, certificate, or domain will be renewed. It does not replace your own calendar, registrar panel, or hosting panel.
Your risk
You use the service at your own risk. You are solely responsible for renewing certificates and domains, for any client sites you watch, and for what you do with check results and alert mail. Checks and alerts can be late, wrong, throttled, undelivered, or missing (network, DNS, mail, our systems, or the public records we read). An “OK” result is a snapshot, not a promise it will stay valid.
No warranty
The service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. We may change, throttle, or stop features without notice. Email is best-effort.
Release
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable United States law, you release, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify the operator of this site and its contractors and affiliates from any claim, loss, cost, liability, or damage (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of this site, anything generated for you here (including check results and alert mail), expired or mis-renewed certificates or domains, client or visitor impact, your watchlist, or your subscription.
Limitation of liability
The operator of this site is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost clients, downtime, browser warnings, SEO harm, or expired TLS/domains, even if advised of the possibility. If some liability cannot be excluded, total liability for this product is limited to the fees you paid for Expiry Watch in the three months before the claim, or nine US dollars, whichever is greater.
Cookies
This site uses a session cookie so this browser can remember your plan and that you agreed to these Terms. It does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. The extra cookie-consent rules that cover those kinds of cookies do not apply here. You may still record that you are fine with the session cookie; that record is optional.
Paid plans
A paid plan only raises how many hosts you may watch. It does not add a warranty, SLA, or duty to keep a certificate valid. Subscribing requires that you check the box confirming these terms. Checking that box is your electronic signature that you understand and agree.
Acceptance
Using the service (checking a host, watching hosts, reading mail from us, or subscribing) is acceptance of these terms. United States law governs, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If a court strikes one part, the rest still applies.
